That's the reason she's off for six months. Working with the harness is out of the question - that's how she injured herself, actually.
...

Gosh ... the very best to both of you ...

I don't know James, this could put fear and anxiety into die-hards.

Here's a little summary I'd just written when I saw the news an hour ago or so...

" In this day and age where special effects are visuals mistaken for a scenario, action for substance, and confusion for depth, you simply cannot attract the large audiences those networks and producers want and remain true to Star Trek. The horrendous Abrams movies were a brilliant demonstration of that, if very little else.

Expect to see crew members abandon the traditional Shakespeare quotes and Mahler music for references to the Twilight series and Beyonce, and "breathtaking, riveting, stunning" scenes to replace those lengthy discussions about ethical and philosophical issues. The dumbing down of Star Trek is underway..."

On the other hand - we've finished Voyager last week or so and begun DS9. We're approximately halfway through the 2nd season.

That leaves 5 DS9 seasons, 7 seasons of Next Generation, 3 seasons of TOS, and 4 seasons of Enterprise (which I have yet to see myself).

Plus 10 movies...

I don't think we'd go as far as watching the animated series.

We should be all set for a while. :P

All the best for a speedy recovery.
Being half way through the recovery from a broken leg I can understand the frustration of restricted movement by external factors. For me it's a toe to groin plaster. I escaped surgery so considering what might have been, I've been very lucky to have a routine recovery.

:)

Almost a week now and we've established a kind of routine, though I really need to find a way to re-integrate my workouts into that schedule. But my wife's condition hasn't really been the issue  - it's the menagerie that's been waking me up early and keeping me busy. Puking puppy, sick cat, vet appointment...

Feeding all those guys, giving each one the time and specific care/meds they need, and w/ a young puppy that is very demanding and still not perfectly house trained can be very demanding.

Plus, as is often the case towards the end of the year, one of our cats fell ill - we were really expecting the worst but he's getting better. That is, $700 later, and not yet having the results of all the tests...

And yet more meds...
