I don't mind Edward Bear at all... actually quite like them and the memories they provoke. I always found them to be the Canadian version of America. Especially songs like "Masquerade" and "Me, You and Mexico".

I remember these guys too.
 
TBH it does not bring back any memories for me but I wouldn't shoot anybody for liking their memories brought on by the song.

Edward Bears was the first 33LP I ever bought when I was a mid teen.
 
About 4 years ago I bought a CD of their hits.
 
I always liked how the drummer was the singer and remember he had really long hair.
 
Larry Evoy I think his name is. I used to wonder if his hair got in the way.
 
He always made me think of Levon Helm and Karen Carpenter.
