It snowed at my house for the first time last night.

I told my with over morning internet n' java:
"Great, perpetual flannel and fleece season...."

Glad someone likes it.

I have to say I'm loving this Florida weather and glad to have this pleasant weather throughout the year.....now in the 70's to mid 80's.....(it's just the lightening storms that I can do without...)

I avoid weather as much as possible. It needs to stay outside where it belongs. The other day, one of my kids opened a window in the van. Fortunately, we were able to seal off that bulkhead before we vented too much atmosphere. I haven't looked at my lawn in several months. By now, it's probably covered in kids. That happens when you're not out there to tell them to get off of it.

No matter how many times I try to explain this to people, no one ever gets it. If you look out there at that unfinished open area called "Sky", you might see a huge ball of fire floating by. I am not kidding. It's a great big ball of fire just burning away in the sky. Seriously. Everyone I tell about this just acts like it's normal or something. It's a ball of fire in the sky, for crying out loud.

Weather. It just ain't right.

Hi,

We got a little rain around here ... but it's still on vacation and not showing up ... it's kinda sad going over the bridge and seeing the Columbia River at least 6 to 7 feet low ... no Salmon this year!

Hi,

We finally had some decent rain ... now if we can maintain that for a couple more days ... we might even salvage some salmon runs on the Columbia River!

I thought salmon swam instead of running, no?
