S&M? That's a label I'm trying to put together. Are you saying you would refuse to record for us? Superior and Majestic? We guarantee to spank the competition... A lady from a competing label was inquiring about our talent and said her father introduced her to the business, and I had to ask her... "Who's your daddy?"

I am not sure why folks think these lyrics are silly...they work great. This is actually one of my favorite Frank tunes. I get what you are going for with the vocals, but my feelings are a more natural (less staccato) vocal take on the verses would work better and then go to the existing chorus.

And that is some infectious music bed. Well done.

In addition to the harmonies sounding a bit like Steve Miller (which I do also hear), this song (especially the harmonies) reminds me a bit of something by the Little River Band.

Well, earthling, I will have to say that although the mix was on the higher frequency end (to my ears), the harmonies and instruments were flawless.  I THINK THE LYRICS ARE CLEVER AND EASY TO LISTEN TO AND UNDERSTAND. Personally I don't see any silliness in them at all.  I do hear heartfelt sentiments so somewhere along the line you must have felt something like this.  So, it had that "higher frequency" mix sound but I liked it the more I listened (3 times).  The song itself is GREAT.  Did I say I loved the chord changes and harmonies?  I did.

Thanks Warren, I appreciate the great feedback...  love the latest "PugTune"

This one is great!  I think the lyrics are excellent!  Really fun song.  I like the more modern drum mix and the tight bass.  And the different guitars and fiddle and other stringed instruments fill it out nicely.

Hey Frank, yup it`s damn catchy but god do I hate autotune LOL!!!!!!!

Frank, I love stuff like this. The auto-tune is the only issue I had with the song. It's poppy, fun, makes you move, and some country star would make it a hit just the way it is if THEY wrote it and performed it.

Don't ever feel anything is silly. It's your art...it's unique, it's a piece of you. Sometimes we're silly and act like kids no matter how old we are. Sometimes we're mad, sometimes we're sad....songs are an extension of everything, ya know? I think it was great that you shared this. Wou ldhave loved to hear it without auto-tune with your strong vocal the way I know it to be. Playing and mix was really good too! Well done as usual brother. :)

My wife said this is a stupid song...  I said, I thought it had a clever hook, and a melody that would stick in yer head... what do I know..?

Kind of reminds me of that Smashmouth song that was featured in Shrek.

BTW Frank, My Lovely Lady thinks all of The CHB are silly/stupid. I keep telling her "That's the point luv".

Lastly, when are you EVER going to make a [link=mailto:cr@p]cr@p[/link] tune that I can slam??

Triple thanks Ed... really, you're too kind...  Slam away...

Thanks again Walt... that's quite a compliment... I saw "LRB" live in Pensacola, way back in the late '70s... they were knocked out...
