I had the distinct pleasure of sharing a meal with Jan in Newport Beach, California a couple of years ago. He was a gentleman of the highest order and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation about music and life. A great sense of humor that will be missed around here.

Well my time went so quickly, I went lickety-splitly out to my old '55
As I drove away slowly, feeling so holy, God knows, I was feeling alive.
Now the sun's coming up, I'm riding with Lady Luck, freeway cars and trucks,
Stars beginning to fade, and I lead the parade
Just a-wishing I'd stayed a little longer,
Oh, Lord, let me tell you that the feeling's getting stronger.

Awww man.....he seemed like one of life's good guy for sure. I had noticed his absence of late, but didn't realise it was because he had been quite so poorly. :(

RIP Old Fella.

A very, very sad loss indeed. I always looked forward to chatting with him here (6 am his time, before leaving for work) in the CH and we engaged in a little buffonery......he always made me smile. A true gentleman!!
Will definitely pray for his soul.
RIP Jan.
