Very sad news.

I was with Bapu and Jan for one of those NAMM excursions.  We had a great time.  He'll be missed.

That is indeed sad news. He was a high quality fellow.

I am so saddened by this news.  Jan will be missed.  I am glad he is no longer suffering from the evil that plagued him.
 
Jan and I tried several times to meet up for dinner when my wife and I were on vacation in San Diego, but he was not feeling good any of the times we were available and we didn't make it.

Rest in Peace, Jan. Thank you for the kindness and laughter. I'm glad I was able to meet him, and thanks to Greg for alerting me.
