Ok...you have to ask the question

WHY did IK wait until the product was released AND everyone had already pre-ordered
to come out with the A4 + Mesa and the Deluxe versions?  To further add insult to injury
there is no upgrade path to EITHER ONE.  We should have, at the bare minimum, had
the opportunity to pre-order these...AND now, since it is "ex post facto" should get
a decent upgrade offer on them...but NOPE...IK screws the pooch again...

The more I see how this company does business the more I dislike them...

I agree.....A4 was just released about a week ago and now we will have to spend a lot more for Deluxe. I think a lot of IK deals/tactics are as complicated as it is, is due to this kind of activity.....next month, all of this will be a GB.

IMO, it's just better to patiently wait for their GB's instead of jumping on it while it's "hot".

maybe I am not seeing this clearly correct me if I am wrong.

is Amp 4 Deluxe not just Amp4 with amp3 content?  looks that way to me.

certainly does not contain some of the Custom Shop items like Bottle mic or specialty amps.

why is there not a Amp4 everything bundle. just everything current in CS and all amp3 addons? you know, everything.

I did not upgrade to Amp4.  still waiting it out. this just seems like more of the reasons I wanted to steer clear of IK.

That's the way I see it as well.  A4 only has 9 amps.  With my upgrade from A3 to A4, I basically already have Deluxe because it rolls all of this previously owned Gear into A4.  What extra do get with Deluxe beyond already owning it anyway?

What am I missing....seems like a mute point.

Where is the button that says hide what I don't own? I really don't need to be reminded of all of the nefarious ways they try to get me to spend more money.

By the looks of much of the "new" included stuff it's just a lot of the stuff in Amp3 already, no?

Amplitube 4 Deluxe is for new customers who don't own anything from A3. I would guess the remaining amps, cabs and effects from A3 will now be Custom Shop items.

I'm sure that is the case...point being...why do something
like this RIGHT AFTER LAUNCH?

Also, the A4- Mesa deal should entitle me to Mesa for $99...
but nope...as I would have gone the extra mile (had the opportunity
been presented me) as it's the only collection I don't own...

Bad business no matter how you slice it...
