I used to have butter and peanut butter.  Now it's just peanut butter.  I do use butter to cook scrambled, bacon grease for OM.  And squirrel is best done in a crock pot or cast iron skillet.  Unless you're talking about squirrel ...

Very interesting about older strings and distorted sounds Mr. Richard Head.  I never thought about that.
 
I put a new set on my acoustic, and it made the guitar sound and play new again.
 
Yes though, in all honesty, there are some things better.

It's because every time I go to the music store to buy guitar strings I feel sorry for all the homeless unloved guitars hanging there on the music store wall .
One of these days I might actually go in and buy a pack of strings …
