Tone matching distortion.  interesting idea.

I am guessing that this is the Kempler of distortion matching from what I read?

so is the idea that I could use a recorded song then match the distortion and have a matched distortion petal to use anytime I needed it as a patch?

$99 seems like this should be part of FX thought it does plugs into or is useable in FX.

I dunno, interesting idea.  Maybe I will try the demo.

Remember the days of guitarists claiming some kind of magic or lack of memory or that it's a secret on how they got a certain tone.

Finger cloning technology will be the next logical step.

I think I have nickel allergy as my fingers get red and like sunburnt after practicing.

I'm all for finger cloning.  I'll take a David Gilmour, throw in some Lenny Kravitz and a finger or two of Slash.

BIAS Pedal is very nice, I really like it, and feel it is well worth the price for the factory pedals alone, not to mention the tweakability and tone matching side of things. If you own other PG products you can get it for $79, at least I did, I already had BIAS Amp Pro and BIAS FX Pro. Some very awesome tones to be had, anywhere from light break up to to full on. Love it.

Can't wait until they update it with Tone Cloud, that's when the fun will really kick in, pedals for everyone.
