Not sure if you are being funny or what?
Pro Tools uses the mouse just like Sonar and all the others.
The difference is that Pro Tools dates back to a time when key-commands were used with little or no mouse support, especially for editing audio, yet it still retains those key-commands to this day.
There are people that are so well versed in Pro Tools that they can do all editing and operations without a mouse, and very quickly at that.
Think of the Pro Tools Operators that are working in Nashville Studios and pumping out demo songs all day long.
They have to be on top of things and instantly ready for punch-ins, overdubs, etc  without making a room full of paid studio musicians wait for them.

I must be missing something. The mouse buttons and the scroll-wheel work.
What else is it supposed to do?

Just a joke Mike...Pro Tools has been far behind other DAW's featurewise...
