Last week I got back to Sonar after not using for over a month. X3 seemed to work fine but noticed that my export file was empty. I read the forum and tried removing recent Win 10 updates which didn't help. Nect I decided to upgrade to the latest vesion Pro hoping that it would fix the export issue but it did not? Both versions creaye an empty audio file. My work around is to bounce to a new track and use this instead of the export option. 
 
Need a solution to fix. I believe I installed Pro with migration of X3 settings.

Your export file is "empty" meaning it is a wave file of length zero bytes. Or meaning it does not play.

Correct. Empty and wont play.

Answers to related issues suggested increasing buffers. That fixed the export on both the old X3 and new Pro. With the upgrade price I am glad to have a new version.
 
I went from 256 to 512 with a Tascam US16-08. Pro reports in 12.6 out 26.2 and round trip of 38.3 msec. Are these reasonable numbers for an Intel I5 with 12 gig?
 
Are there any compelling reasons to use the new Pro instead of X3 since both are now working. Any major new features other than stability?
