Hmmm...

I just realized... I'm gonna have a hard time with this. I have no graphics programs on my DAW as I do my graphics work on this machine (the one I do my browsing on as well)....

We'll see how this goes... they are networked.....  ;-)

You could always share your SONAR folder (the folder where SONARPDR.exe and TTSRES90.dll live), then map a drive to it on your image editing PC. The share would need read/write priveledges of course. That should do the trick.

Thanks benstat...

That's what I was hoping to try... I'm gonna go at it now...

I guess I'll be up playing all night! ;-)

Hi benstat...

OK... I've got it installed on my DAW with it pointing to Photoshop 7 on this machine (my graphics WS (GWS?))...

I first uninstalled Panup's Mod that I use...

Then ran and setup Skinner...

Now I'd like to re-install Panup's mod and then edit from there... Is that a can do?

ben..those files you see under the error...i cant copy them..there is no way to.trust me ive been trying for a day now...i know what you mean...i do know what your talking about..winraw..wont let me. ..the error is...when i click extract to folder-c/programfiles/benstat/sonar plaus skin editor
At first I thought you must have had a corrupt download. I'm not sure what you're selecting when you right click the *zip file. Or are you just left double clicking it? Sounds like you maybe don't have the right permissions set and may need to run WinRar as administrator. In which case you need to find Win Rar and right click the program icon and under Compatability select always run as Admin.
then copy the whole *zip file to your Benstat folder.
Right click and select extract to the suggested folder which will be the same name as the *.zip file.
This will create a new folder with the same name as the zip file with all your extracted files inside.
then find the file inside the folder that ends with exe and right click drag to your desktop and select Create shortcut. All done. Double click it to run the Skin Editor.

If I wasn't using WinRar I couldn't have been that specific. Your screen capture doesn't show the files extracted it shows errors. And its not a window from which you can copy files. You need to correct whatever's causing the errors first.

And yes I have read all your posts.

My copy of Skin editor works prefectly. What I told you to dopoint by point was based on having read all your posts and going to the trouble of downloading it and installing skin editor so I could help you out.

Perhaps I shouldn't have bothered.  We're clearly not communicating well. I'm out of here.

If you need a pretty powerful tool for free, check out Paint.net or GIMP. That way you wont have to move from machine to machine.

Paint.net

Thanks... I just downloaded and tried both with no luck...

They both install and work fine, but I get an assortment of error messages (different for each) when I try to use Skinner to open the pic in the editor...
