You'll be able to get one cheap with all the new stuff coming out (I bought my HD500X for $350). Fractal's AX8 for $1399 gives me gas big time!

It is set to be released in October, just not at any specific date at this point.  In other words, the sky is not falling, we're just not pushing a specific date in October.
 
Edit - we've even come in early on the most recent release, so I really wouldn't get all that worried over this.

It's not even vague...it says DIRECTLY Oct 28th...

I don't know...Of course everything in life is subject to change. I'm looking forward to giving it a try though. Amplitube is still my second favorite now.

Amplitude is my go to amp sim and I did order the upgrade to 4.But I am a little worried now as everything that has been posted states '"released in October" or "released on October 28th".  Nothing has been said about what year it will be released!  I hope they mean this year

Yeah, Clint, I have seen a few around that price. The Helix might be way more amazing, but I am aiming for upgrading my 1999 Kurzweil K2500, and adding some other items, before I'd consider that. I would much rather buy a Vox AC10 and play with what I have.....
I am glad I preordered AT4, but am really looking forward to setting up live tracking in our breezeway once we "winterize" it.....at least more than it is now. I haven't miked an amp in 7 years, so I am eager to do that again and compare it to AT4 in November (of this year, hopefully!  LOL)

That is not our date, we do have AmpliTube 4 targeted for an October 29, 2015 release date now though.
