Lurves me some Dexter. I hope they bring him back now that he's been off in the wilderness for a while. There was some talk of that after the series ended.

I loved Dexter, in spite of the craze.

Six Feet Under would probably be at or very near the top of my list. Along with a French comedic series called Kaamelott.

As for the rest, I seem to like older series. I've managed to make my lovely lady a Trekkie - we just finished watching Voyager and I got her started on DS9.

The old late 70's Incredible Hulk is awesome if I feel the need to regress, as is the 60's Batman series.

You know, the second run of Battlestar was enjoyable for me too.  Another NF binge

I would love to see Dexter picked up again, but I would be skeptical.  My $$ would be on it being ruined in some way I couldn't live with.

As an aside, this is my favorite Christopher Lloyd moment of all time. Silly as hell of course but classic comedy.

LOL

I thought he was remarkable in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - as were all actors involved.

Otherwise, I prefer to think of him as good old Uncle Fester.

I never think of him as that guy in the Back to the Future franchise. I never realized that they were such cult classics.

He was also the Klingon commander in one of the Star Trek movies (Search For Spock I believe).  George Carlin had fun with that one saying it was hard to imagine him as anything but Reverend Jim: "So Kirk, you won't hand over the Genesis project?  Well, ok then!"  LOL!

Wait a minute...are you telling me there's a NEW Star Wars movie? Holy crap. No way.

After Jar Jar I thought they'd have given up. Next you're gonna tell me it's a Disney production!

And by the same guy who's disfigured Star Trek, yes. :P
At least, Star Wars is more likely to benefit from his special sort of "talent".

Just a good movie or two before that's all.

the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant

That's a brilliant set of books, I somehow lost most of them when we moved to Scotland, must get them again.

The Walking Dead isn't about the Zombies.

Sure there's plenty of flesh eating walkers to contend with  but I really think the appeal of this series is that it's a metaphor for the end of the world in whatever way it happens to manifest itself at some future point in time, and that interests many people. Think Baltimore or Ferguson on a national or worldwide scale that goes on for months or perhaps longer...a total breakdown of society if you will, no matter what the source.

It's appeal is more, to me anyway, about how the characters change and adapt to the changing world around them that is totally out of phase with how things used to be.  And of course, who wouldn't just love to do some zombie head shots?

NO, you aren't... and FWIW, I have never seen ET. Don't care if I ever see it.
