Hello, has anyone seen the documentary concerning the Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley Jr. televised debates during the 1968 Republican and Democratic Conventions?  I found it entertaining.

However, if you are interested in a historical expose', the documentary is quite illuminating. 
 
I came away respecting both gentlemen, as well as feeling a little sorry for them.

Sorry to be all stiff and stuff, Jesse.  We have a long history of talking nonsense other than politics.  There are plenty of places on the web to find that kind of thing.  Too many, if you ask me.

I wouldn't know a thing about a thread being locked but this strikes me as politics, yes, but in a historic perspective. More like a learning experience.
 
Now if I was to say President Obama promised a more peaceful foreign policy and the reality is completely different then I think that might be reason for a lock.  But I'm not saying that.
