Made with SONAR of course.  This is an atmospheric/ambient electronica style song.  Comments welcome, and thanks for listening!!

Love the title and the sounds going on here.  I know they're probably not, but those low string 5ths sound like the strings on a Roland S550 to me...cool.  Like the flute sound that just came in.  For some reason this reminds me of the Conan movies a little.  Nice job.

This piece sets a very dream like mood with the exotic sound of a sitar.  I like the simple chord progression and the overall sparseness of the song because it allows the listener a chance to fill in the blanks.  This would fit well in a video or movie track.  Well done.

Thanks Don.  The strings are actually the Cakewalk SI-String Section, using the Dark Section preset.  I love the comparison with the Conan movies - some of my favorite classic adventure titles!

Thanks Lynn.  The sparseness is probably because I'm kinda new to this electronic music stuff!  I've been an analog recording guy (on and off) for about 30 years, and didn't really pick up synths until CWPA kept giving them away with the upgrades I was buying.  I wound up buying P5 and playing with it a little, years ago, but not seriously.  It's only in the last year or so that I've really tried to make "electronic" music, as opposed to the traditional "mics-and-guitars-and-drums" production approach.  I'm still definitely feeling my way around the synths, and figuring out what I can and can't do with them.

Maybe I should find a way to put in a "B" part in the middle somehow?

Very nicely arranged and lots of nice textures throughout the piece. Everything blend and melds together nicely giving one a shot at a serene moment. Very nice mix and everything fits together. Nice one.

Peace and Blessings, John

Thanks so much John.  This one is definitely more serene than my usual output. :)  During the writing process I specifically stayed away from any sort of driving rhythm and instead focused on trying to create more of a flowing soundscape.

that's a good idea... anything to capture attention, and stimulate interest... stir it up...
I like the exotic soundscape you've created here, and look forward to hearing more from you... well done, and welcome to the songs forum...

Very cinematic.  The shuffle beat really makes this work - gives the ambient a touch of drive.  Nice selection of sounds drifting in and out.  A B part could work, even tho (unlike many ambient pieces) doesn't go on too long.

Lovely song w/ just enough of the ominous to keep up the tension.

Thanks AT for your comments and for listening.  I guess it's more of a soundscape than a song really.  I've been listening to a lot of Groove Salad lately. ;)

The opening instrument has a sizzle trail that was annoying to me.

After it got going this is a really nice piece.

Is it just me or does the percussive hits (which sound like a stacked kick and snare) seem, at times, out of sync?

Not my normal listening genre but the production was very good.
