Doktor Avalanche
Unsurprising win10 is still rough round the edges, so fingers crossed this will mature it, I suspect it will take another quarter though to really get the ball rolling.
I've had to learn a few new WinTips with Win10, and I agree that any major update of a complex software system is bound to have rough edges, but I have to say this:
After using Win10 for 3 months, I would NEVER go back to Win7 (I skipped Vista and Win8). My PC is as or more stable, and definitely faster. Once Tascam released the Win10 driver for the US-16x08, Win10 really started to rock. Tascam did one heck of a good implementation. I wish there was a choice of sample size smaller than 64, just to try it. I have had ZERO audio i/o issues. I went 5 weeks without a Win10 driver, and was singing the blues along with a bunch of other early adopters.
Now? Always forward! Never straight!
