I have been enjoying all the updates and have not found many (if any) issues.  However with the last update I've noticed my "New Project" selection in the start screen doesn't act the same as before.  I don't know if maybe there was an option somewhere I selected that I can't find now where by clicking on "New Project" it would just open a new project with my preferred template.  Now I have to select what template I want and again it's saving everything in it's own folders.  I know there must be a selection somewhere I'm missing, but I can't seem to find it anywhere

It's been moved to keyboard shortcut Ctrl-N for new project (opens the old way). 
 
Also you can use the Ctrl-O shortcut to get the dialogue to open an existing project.
