Thank you to everyone for your responses. I've been waffling for a year on what host to use, and decided to finish up my older tracks to get back in the saddle. 8.5.3 didn't give me a bit of trouble at all.  My new work will be here also since I simply do not like X1, and that's after giving it a year to grow on me. Not ****ing, because I wish I did click with it, but just stating the factual status for myself. I have Aspergers (diagnosis 8/17/98), so the type of interface and and customization of that interface is extremely important to me.

Thanks again.

A bug I've been noticing lately is that,
envelopes don't mix down sometimes. Especially the mute envelope.
Anyone else see this?

Automation failure, sadly, has been a longtime bugaboo with SONAR. Since at least version 5 anyway and every version since. Once they're happy with the UI, I'm sure they'll get back to the fundamentals. Automation definitely needs a get-well plan.

Thanks Bit. Is there any detail anywhere as to what exactly is broken? Or, is this one of those unspoken truths?
ie: are all envelopes affected? So, I do a mix and have no clue whether or not it printed right. Mute envelopes usually would be noticed but, some other small envelope tweaks would not. This is really starting to p*** me off.

Was this fixed in X1?
