I just installed the demo and it is only showing up in Audio Effects, which only allows me to hear it during playback and not while I am playing. Not sure what I am missing, but I am definitely not interested if I can't hear it while I am playing.
 
Looking through their help site is useless.

Well I no longer use Sonar, but you should be able to just add it in the FX bin of a track and bob's your uncle, I had no trouble with it about 6 months ago.
 
Are you selecting input monitoring ?

Make sure you have input monitoring engaged...

you should be able to hear it...

I finally got it working by... switching to a different amp in Bias. I kept chasing my tail in Sonar to no avail. No when I switch back to the same amp everything works as it should.
 
And I've heard Bias long enough that I don't care for what it has on offer in the demo anyway.
