Thanks guitarhacker. I changed the pad to get less reverb as well, but i'm taking that it's still to much

Terry, I was the first to comment and was trying to be nice, but this new version is much better and you have fixed it so that it all blends together nicely. I hate being the first to comment and a lot of the time I wait, unless I have commented on every thread, which is usually the case. I like what you have done here and its very creative, based on your story of the original post. Nicely done and some nice lyrics and vocals. Sorry I didn't comment properly the first time and wasn't more helpful. Good one for sure.

Peace and Blessings, John

I must have heard the "new and improved" version because this works for me.  You have one of the most unique and recognizable voices on this forum, and you continue to use it well.  This is good songwriting, and you apparently have taken and used suggestions very well.  Rock on!

I really like this a lot Terry, It sounds like the parts where you aren't singing need more bass, kinda a breakaway type of thing. Probably not explaining what I am saying here well. Listen to U2's New Years Day when the singing ends on the verses and you'll know what I am talking about.

Either way I really enjoyed hearing this very much!!

This song sounds really good to me.  I love the ultra-dirty synth, spacy piano and organ, the laid back pop vibe, and the vocals work well too.

One small rhythmic nitpick - seems like there's a slight hitch in the drums a few times, at 0:14, 1:16, and 2:32.  Sounds like a possible quantize error.
