Very nice Herb....came out clean & clear through my cans. I enjoyed the fiddle a lot (set the mood really well).....did you play that as well?
 

I like this Herb. Mix sounds nice. Reminds me of some of those old Chris Ledoux (Spelling?) songs from way back when. really brings back some memories. Good job!

Love the steel and fiddle.  Some minor pitch issues on the vocals.  I agree with notnat about dropping in a sidestick/hat on the verses for some variety in the drum line.  Also, an extra fill or two here and there might make the drums sound a bit less vanilla.
 
Overall very nice production and a great song!  I liked it quite a bit.  Thanks for sharing. :)

I'm really not a Country fan, so I'm not really an authority on the subject, but:
 
I think the drums are a bit loud and upfront.
 
I like the way the steel lines fit between the vocal lines and fill things out. Nice touch.
 
The mix seems really clear. I can hear everything and some good arranging helps it out a lot.
 
 
The pitch issues someone else mentioned don't bother me in the least. Makes it so much more authentic and real. In fact, I don't think I would have noticed if someone else hadn't pointed it out.

Nice song. I'm not much of a fan of this style but I could deal with it live. To me, this music is best live. Well done!

Woo Hoo!  I loved this one.  If I was going to drink again, I'd want to be in a bar where they're playing this.  Then I'd find a blues bar!  LOL  This is one my favorites from you.  Really nicely mixed produced and performed!
