Courtesy of my hometown defense contractor, Boeing. Turns out, this technology is already in the public domain in the UK.  Look up - Big Brother is watching!

Basically the solution is nowadays to run VPN by default, it's a pity though that option isn't made more user friendly. It really needs to be rolled out to the masses. We are in a similar situation probably as we were in the 1990's and viruses running wild with little protection. Even good old Dr Solomon's toolkit sometimes could not detect some viruses on infected floppies.

At first I read the title as "Drones that hack your hi-fi." I had visions of some nefarious bastard remotely pumping Taylor Swift through my speakers at 4am.

Hi,

I don't think that anyone is going to try to hack any WI-FI or Sci-Fi, or Bi-Fi ... any time soon, because it would be way too visible and they could get nailed easily enough, and a company name in it would create a backlash that could hurt a lot. Anyone, trying to get advertising on that, would probably get nailed sooner or later by an admin/person that is not an idiot when it comes to these things.

Threats and intentional hacks, are not always caught, but many of them that do ... you don't want the FBI at your house, do you? it's not a good game to play, besides the fact that someone is using their own connection and their own provider has no idea what is going on?

Not likely! Our ISP turned off an account, good money too, because the guy was spaming and trying to hack people's accounts with his account, and he got busted, and was fined by the judge ... kinda bad! That guy, will never again, get another job doing code or anything having to do with computers, because of his credibility.

Someone better think twice!

There was a drone outside my house spying on me just a few days ago.

It soon died of inexorable boredom and crashed in my backyard.

Seriously, the only people this would likely appeal to is kids playing Mission Impossible and government agencies with far more money than brains - it's just a pointlessly inefficient and needlessly overcomplicated way of hacking someone, and, aside from celebrities, there are probably very few people paranoid enough to warrant using a drone but who haven't bothered with security enough to prevent or at least detect unauthorized access to their Wi-Fi.

Speaking of hacking....these 3 teens did a Ferris Bueller style hacking into their school's computer system and changed grades/schedules.

Hahaha ... love that one. And I wish they had succeeded and marked down a teacher bad enough ... for being a bad teacher ... now that would have been a lot better!

I was really hoping Amazon would really go through with their plans to deliver packages by drone.

That, I'm certain, would have spawned a brand-new and very popular sport: skeet-shooting WITH PRIZES!

No kidding!  I can only imagine what it would be like in Los Angeles...

Hi,

Skeet shooting with prizes ... now ... that sounds like fun!
