L'otary2 from PSP, but there don't appear to be any earth-shaking enhancements that I can see:

  • Extended algorithm controls
  • Output mixing controls
  • Improved performance
  • Advanced MIDI operation
  • Fine tuned GUI
$69 until November 1st, $79 after November 8th, and $99 after that. The email says there are discounts for existing customers, which many of us have just recently become, but I didn't see any after logging in. Apparently spending only $47 on a heavily-discounted reverb/delay bundle doesn't buy you all that much gratitude.

This is a very nice Leslie emulation, although it's a bit too polite; when I tried it initially I felt it didn't have the necessary grunge factor. However, I intend to demo the new version in hopes that "extended algorithm controls" means greater tweakability, including Drive.

We'll see. It's got some stiff competition here, between MVintageRotary and the integrated Leslie sim in VB3. As well as my recently-acquired physical stompbox - the Ventilator - which is the best simulation I've ever heard.

Try adding the plug-in to your cart to see your discount. I have one other paid PSP plug-in, the PSP 85, which entitled me to an additional 11% off.

Melda developed MRotary after MVintageRotary which has a few more features. It goes on 50% off sale like the rest of their plug-ins which puts it in the intro L'otary price range.
