Be sure to report any problems to Spitfire so that they're aware of them. They are usually really good about getting patches out quickly. It's a great sounding library, isn't it!? :D

I contacted support, there's an issue with missing ostinatum presets.
It should be in the first update but in the meantime you can dl these from them.

As far as I can tell, Albion Legacy had more ostinatum presets than One does. There are 104 in Legacy, and 84 in One. It appears that all of the presets in One are also in Legacy (going by their names), but One is missing 20 that were in Legacy. I wonder if presets that are in One are reconfigured to work better with One's new recordings and scripting or if they're the exact same files as those in Legacy. 

Also, I hope they release the manual soon! :)

The hybrid orchestra section of the Stephenson's Steam Band is like nothing ever seen befor... applying the edna engine to brass, strings, and OMG holy batman!!!  Of course... you can go on from there... call up your own two orchestral samples... f,p, coleg, pizz, spic... hi/low whatever... and start playing with edna...

This, my friends is totally REVOLUTIONARY!!!!  usually we employ lots of synthesis to approach  an orchestral sound and this is totally the reverse.... taking friggin' AWESOME top of the line orchestral sample packages (layed out across the keyboard) and applying synthesis/rhythms/warps/stutters/all kinds of mania to the root samples... it is absolutely mindblowing and beyond words...start from a killer creation already in ur list, switch out samples, tweak away for rhythms or whatever moves you within edna, and voila!!!

Srsly tho - Spitfire should pay him for that.  They should rack up quite a few sales off that piece alone.

Any word on a manual for Albion One?

Help me out here; is it worth it to break open the piggy bank to get original Albion for $229 and then get Albion One for an additional $229, or just get Albion One for about $500 when I actually have the money?  Given how amazing Albion One is, Am I really going to dip into "legacy" Albion, ever?
 
By the way, is GAS an acronym for "Get Another Synth" or "Going Against Sanity"?  Either way, I've got it.

The legacy version is worth it at this sale price.
Even without upgrading to the newer ONE it will always be relevant.
