Hi Frank, I'm one of those guys that if I had somebody to do all the things I'm not that great at then they'd be doin' those things but all I got is me and I always hope that my offerings are reviewed with that perspective. So backgrounds and ALL I love this!!!

This one is special, Frank.  It's big and beefy on my system.  The lyrics are quite good, and the performances shine.  Thanks for raising the bar, yet again.

As I've said before about this tune.... it should have been the theme song for a TV sitcom of the same name in the 70s, it just has that sound!  But honestly Fank, I liked the original far better than this remake.  It was so perfect before, it now sounds too busy for my old ears.  It doesn't have the snap of the early version.  There are some cool things there but I don't think it translates as well... but then I was a HUGE fan of the earlier version.

Guitarhacker nice one.
The BGV in this sound like a gospel choir..... a tight choir.... this is not necessarily a bad thing for a song in this style.

Thanks... no I didn't use my orange Gretsch 6120 Jr on this tune... I used an old Stratocaster... Glad you liked...

I think your current mix and edits blow away the version I had heard .
 
as we all know ,
I'm not a singer ...so , I can't really comment on the vocals......
 
overall , I think they are good and I wish I could sing half as good as you or Robbie ...
 
I'm impressed that you have the music end of this song so happening and grooving ...
