David, I like the music and it sounds, really good and goes along nice with the video. Some of those film clips look familiar from my childhood. Are they royalty free clips and if so where can I get some. Nice job!

thanks man. found them on the internet archive (archive.org), all public domain stuff that i cut up and messed with. i'm going to be working with some local filmmakers on some other videos soon, but for now I figured this would be a cool way to get a nice video out there :-)

Good tune, the snare could come up a bit though my friend.

Nice sound for sure.  Very cinematic.  Great work.

and yea twisted6s that's all by design but i promise some of the other tracks on the album have much bigger snares :-)

The song is very 'one' with the video. Nice.

thanks guys. i'll be back tomorrow (9/3) to post a link to the full album. it comes out tomorrow and i'm really excited to share it with everyone. cakewalk since pro audio 4.0 :-) my first strictly instrumental album. excited.
 
and i'm going to be meeting with someone next week about doing a fully produced video to one of the other tracks from the album... i also have 2 more videos like the "Lights In The Sky" one created from public domain footage that will be coming out soon.

The song progresses and builds nicely, and the old video footage really works with the music.
