Hi,
I like her better than Jeff any day! No matter how good a guitarist he is, even if he is doing Turandot! Btw, if he had Renata or Birgit next to him, they would bury him and his guitar!
???
I don't get this at all, you either dig what he does musically or you don't, simples.
His local pub was one of my regular haunts for years and you couldn't wish to meet a more unassuming, polite and gentle man, who'd never mention who he was or what he did unless asked. I remember when the son of the landlord of that place started to learn to play the drums and he was really generous and helpful toward him even attending some of the young lads' first gigs.
I don't dig everything he's done myself but he certainly has my respect as a musician and as a person and he's influenced many over the years and he's sure enough paid any dues by now.
The comment above just shows how you are caught up in the 'fame' game far more than many of the folk you criticise on here with your completely unfounded ill willed remarks toward a nice chap who happens to be a very accomplished player.
