To make a long story short ,
 
I had to put my car outside on the street last night because they are painting the building where I live today and tomorrow.
 
Silly me , I decided to park my car right behind a brand new car that belongs to a really cute girl that recently moved into the apt complex where I live ….
 
She had about 5 to 6  feet in front and I gave her about 5 & 1/5 feet behind her car where my front bumper was ….
 
I go out to walk Duke this morning and I see her car is gone and my car has a note on the windshield 
 
The note said , I'm sorry I backed into the front of your bumper please call me if you need to…503-xxx- 1xx9  
 
Like I said folks , there has got to be an easier way to get a cute girls phone number

PS after checking out my car , my car seems OK and I don't expect anything romantic to ever come out of this experience …  

so....she's a call girl?

Call her. Meet her. And bring the Duke along. Be blasé about the incident. Mention you are a musician. But just mention. Do not come on strong. Be laid back. Let Duke do the heavy lifting. Let nature take its course..

Called her ,  left a message , heard nothing back so far ..I'm OK with it ….
I did notice she parked her car right in front of my entrance where guests park this morning …
I've said hello to her a few times when she has parked there and our paths have crossed in the past …
She is a little itty bitty gal , maybe 5 foot 2 .  
I kid you not when I say this , I think Duke is taller than her when he stands up and he certainly weighs more than her 
If the opportunity presents itself to chat some where's down the line  , Yeah cool , if not OH well….

A fast little story for you ….
Robbie Blunt bought a Vintage Gretsch Roundup off me once when I worked at Manny's Music .
As a courtesy Robbie hooked me up with backstage passes for the show they were doing that night ..
This was The Honeydrippers Tour back in the mid 80's , they were playing at The Meadowlands in N J …
I brought a really hot girl with me to the show and this was our first date ever  
I was so happy to meet Robert Plant and the whole time he was talking with me he was giving my date the eye and turning up the charm  Oh boy what a first date ….
So I'm standing there and Jimmy Page is like two feet away from me and I didn't have the heart to interrupt him to say hello and introduce myself .
Mr Page was involved in what looked like to me a very serious conversation with a rather Lovely looking lady .
I sure as hell don't want to be the type of guitar player that would want to piss him off over something like butting in on his action  I would rather stay an unknown 
You Know , that sure was a cool night that  will never be forgotten for as long as I may live .
One other thing , i sure as hell didn't mind being called Robert when we got back to her place and hit the sheets

Good story Kenny Robbie Blunt - there's a really under-rated player, loved his work with Plant.
