Awesome song.  The lyrics of a hit song.  I like it as is too.  Great guitar work and vocals.  I don't know if it needs anything more....but when you say you were thinking of making a shiny production out of it, makes me wonder what you were thinking of?  

Yep!! Leave it alone, no mistakes here and some very nice guitar playing and a great sound on everything. Nice one for sure.

Yea, this was just a reference recording while I was writing it. 
Nothing fancy on the recording. It's a Martin D-28 I've had for like 40 years.
Just miced it and hit go.
