I'd like to produce this and make it all shiny and everything. And then I think, What for. I like it 'as is'.
Maybe 'insert famous country star name' could do that.
Comments appreciated.

I think you should produce this, because it's such a cool song, with a great title, and hook. and because your productions are always expertly done... just cause...

(grin;-) I don't think that's a good idea(too many cooks)... I'd prefer we remained friends... even if I thought you were serious, I'm pretty sure we'd wind up pissin' each other off...

...good thing you kept the guitar as well.

Great tune, great performance, no further production needed.

No I believe you'd do an excellent job actually. However, I also believe Mr. Maaaaaaay could knock it out of the park. No reason for him to farm it out, he has that whole mixing thing down cold. Others like me get lucky sometimes (as Mr. Petty would say) But I cannot produce consistently good mixes, it's hit or miss, and usually the latter.

The old D-28 sure sounds sweet... care to share your micing technique? placement? gear/mic/preamp..?  It really does sound fine...

That sounds really good. Cool lyrics. Nice voice, you should be the one who hits with this.  Nice clear production, too. Great job all around.
