Hey Daniel. Thanks. Yea, I'm hanging on to this one...

thanks Robbaaaaaaay........... Ha. yea, I could do something maybe. Maybe one of these days. Too much work.

Thanks herb.

Frank, I don't do anything special. I aim the mic sort of at the 12th fret sort of but pointing down a little usually.
I think the mic was an old AKG C451e I've had for like 30 years. I gotta smack it sometimes to get it to work.
Runs thru a Panasonic DA7 mixer. That's probably my newest piece of equipment. 10 years I think...

thank you Moe.

Hey Tony. Thanks man. I think..
Dig your new tune.

I loved it my friend, lyrically and musically superb, it's raw state contributes to it's energy!

Hi Tim ,
I needed to hear this song ..one year ago on the 12 th of August  I held my dog Lucy in my arms as she passed away .

anyway to the topic of your song ...
I think you did a great job with this song , i dig the way you played it, the lyrics , the overall sound

most dudes are all tied up in knots , they have to white knuckle it and sit on their hands so they don't go postal and start pumping lead in all directions when they are dealing with a divorce and their  Ex's demands
I'm struck by the fact that your dude , the one that is telling the story is all calm and rational
his attitude is what makes this a happening song

Yeah , it sounds and has a nice vibe .....

I also think that you probably owe it to yourself  to find out  what you can do with this song as a full out production
(when the right time or opportunity presents itself)

Thanks again Tony. I just didn't get the 'cynical' reference. I know I'm cynical but, I didn't hear it in the tune. I guess it just oozes out around the edges or somethin..
Yea, I like it raw too. Sometimes, the more you add, the more you take away.

Thanks kenny. What a great comment bud. Real interesting perspective.
But then, you don't know what happened next....
Sorry about your pup. Been there too. It's a tough one for awhile.

WOW , Timothy ,......now that's a story ...

here's how I feel after reading it.
I'm all in for allowing dogs to cary guns in Florida since they got lots and lots of Alligators down there ...
but it is very unrealistic to expect a dog to have to deal with a gun that has an excessive trigger pull & weight..
asking a dog to have to kick a trigger is asking a lot since the dog might need his legs for other things like fleeing the scene of danger if it is at all possible ...

After reading that , one could say that my beef is now with the dog owner ,
Why he let his dog cary a somewhat large semi automatic weapon in an unknown caliber is beyond me ...

Most dogs can do perfectly fine w a J frame S&W 5 shot revolver that has a bobbed hammer and a Light trigger pull
it is easy to conceal, easy to check to see if it is loaded, and it goes bang when you point it & pull the trigger ...

also the dogs owner  could of exercised a lot more common sense when it comes to personal firearms safety  ...
all guns are always loaded until you perform a safety check to make sure that it is unloaded ..
not even knowing the caliber ...sheessh

I actually kinda feel sorry for the dog ... I'm glad no charges were pressed against him

Now ....I wonder if there is more to this story .....Did the guys Ex put the dog up to it ?
