Frank, It's alright that you can't rap, because you can play the heck out of your cool collectable guitar and have a blast doing it and make songs like this. Great one. I like it. The only collectable I have is a Gibson 1971 SG1 and it's sweet, but not as pretty as that one you have. Nice guitar and a great song.
 Peace and Blessings, John

Thanks John...  Glad you liked...

Cool distinctive sound, reminding me a bit of Steely Dan. I particuliarly like the "I can't rap" /"I can't wrap my head around it" word game!

Love the Dan... Thanks... yeah, probably not the best title...

"I CAN'T RAP"
No, probably not. (Or, spell either:)
Well actually, you probably could if'n you set your mind to it.
Another great tune Mr. Frank. Sounds good to me.
I love all the little Bvox stuff. The melodyne timbre sameness to them does make it get a little abrasive though.  Don't know how to fix that. I have the same problem usually.
Real nice tune. The bridge changes are way cool...
Love the lyric.

LOL... yeah, I never could spellwell... Thanks for the great feedback Tim...
I've since uploaded a better mix... I toned down the fX on the vocals, and tightened up a few timing issues here & there... fattened up the drums a bit... and thinned out some of my gratuitous noodling...

Whatever you did worked quite well. Sounds excellent.
If'n it were me, I'd let at least let the 1st verse be without the bvox at least till the hook. Or, bring em way down so there not there but they are there.

Thanks for the follow-up Tim... I'm glad this is working better now...
I like your suggestion on the Bvox... I'm also thinking some additional clip-gain-envelopes on the horns and keys may improve the piece...

Frank, this is the kind of consistency that I am searching for in my own productions.  It makes me appreciate the good advice you've given me.  Great song!!

Great song.  I can't rap either.  Your mixes always top notch.  BGV's that are mind blowing.  So you have 2 of those cool guitars?  Black and light blue?

Thank you Geno... glad you liked those BGVs...
I've actually had several of the Newports... I also had a red one and a couple of white Res-O-Glas Basses... the one that looks blue is really seafoam green... the image color was filtered and makes it look blue... They were very cool guitars made by VALCO... VALCO made Nationals, Supros, Airlines, Dwights, TrueTones among many others... National/VALCO has a facinationg history...

Love those vocals!     Very cool tune.  Love the tone on the guitar.  The National... you evidently "get it."

Love it.

ps.  I just bought your CD.
