Thanks Tim...
I actually just uploaded a more refined mix this morning... some of the guitar parts i recorded yesterday were not really working, so I made some changes to those, and arranged an alternate intro... also bumped up the overall a bit... I think I may have it now...

I don't really remember the last mix now. This one sounds really good. Great actually. I just think it's a great tune.
sort of cutting edge actually. Everyone loves a cliche' that's never been done and I think this is that.

I didn't get the same vibe afterwards though that I got with the last mix. It might be that the new intro pushes it to the "trying too hard" category. (when I say that I'm talking like 5-10%) So, maybe it's just me paying attention too much or something. I don't remember the previous intro, and actually, as I type, I don't remember this intro other than it was more of a sneak up on ya type thing that was more or less irrelevant to the greatness of the song. I think the other intro was more getting down to the business of the song where this new one is more diddling around just cause you can to try to make it more interesting or something. It doesn't need to be more interesting. Get to the meat and get on with it.

I don't know what else you did with the guits or whatever but it all works.
I like that you took out the Bvox in the 1st verse. I still think the Bvox are a tad on the abundant side in that once they come in, their there till the end as apposed to a gradual build up thru the song.

I'd say it's a Rap.

I'm going to go address the other thing now........

Wow Frank, there's a lot going on here and it's all good. Love the vocals, and your guitar, as always, is killer. Lyrics are cool too.
Like all your stuff, I really enjoyed this.
Oh, and I clicked on the link Tim left and got a bonus, your rendition of "Bad Sign", one of my all time favorite songs. You nailed it man! Loved it, great job!

Thanks Bob, glad you liked this... I hope you'll check out the latest mix...
I wound up posting "Bad Sign"... Thanks again... btw, I love your lastest groove tune...

I really appreciate the excellent feedback... I do sometimes get carried away, and tend to overproduce... there is always that point of deminishing returns...
Thanks again Timbo...
