I refuse to remove it. It probably sucked anyway? Some F'd out metal 1/4/5 progression? Or some variant there of.

As of the morning of 8/17/2013, "I win?" More people have viewed my objection to your existence? Than your existence has created? So F your existence... :-) And "F it hard..."

And by F it? I mean "Friend it...."

Friend it hard.

Robby, I friending well agree with everything you friending well say

Mind you, all joking aside, you do make a serious point. I spent ages working on my recent cover song before I even posted it here, and I then devoted many hours tweaking it based on the extremely valuable advice I received from the good folk in here - your self included of course.

And I learned more about processing vocals and getting them to sit in a mix in just a few days in here than I would have by reading any number of books or by simply experimenting.

I know from experience that you spend an incredible amount of time on crafting your songs, both in the care and attention you devote to recording the various parts, and then to the task of mixing through to the final result. Man, I know how frustrated and piqued you must get when you feel the need to start a thread like this. But I have to say, it's absolutely understandable. Maybe others think it, but few are prepared to stand above the parapet and say it. I'm not one to dictate who can post, or what they can post, and I reckon, that deep down, you feel the same. But I guess sometimes we have to wonder if we're among the few who really aren't seeing the Emperor's new clothes.

I can never understand why some members treat this place, and the extremely knowledgeable people we are lucky enough to share it with, as anything other than an incredible resource for learning and improving - I'm afraid it just doesn't make any sense to me.

When people post songs, or often just parts of songs (and by that I don't mean songs that are genuine works-in-progress), and then only positively acknowledge the responders who praise their efforts, while at the same time disparaging and decrying any critical, yet extremely helpful, replies, it drives me wild.

And not just because of the rudeness and ignorance they display, but because they are depriving themselves, by their pig-headed and stubborn attitude, of actually taking advantage of the help and advice so freely offered by people who really do know what they're talking about.

It's a shame really - such a friending waste.

I don't know guys, I believe this thread is a waste of time & space... every bit as much as the object of your fixation...

Ahhh the human factor? I wish I did not have it. I wish I were not cursed with it? I wish that I could control it better. I wish I could just take a punch and stay down for the count? But it's not in me :-( I wish I could be loved by most (like you?) I wish I could comment favorably on most, or not at all?

It has to do with upbringing I guess... We can't choose our parents. We can make decisions based on many things, but we cannot escape who we are. You can run from that person? But they will find you. And in the end? It is impossible to escape. "I wrote a song called, 'It is what it is.'" And it is "In FACT" what it is!

If I could have chosen my parents, I think they would have been "Ivana, and the Donald." I wish many things? I think there's a song in here somewhere. "I wish..." I wish. There is definitely a song in there. I'm going to start writing it tomorrow. This is how great songs are written...

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

My son is 10, "he's dealing with "bullies at school?" I told him, "Son? when one of them gives you a hard time, get in his face, and drop him like a bad habit..." "Hit him hard on the jaw, or on the nose?" And then you won't have to deal with it anymore. I'm sure our President would encourage a different course of action? But as for me? I dance with the one who brung me... POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

I am somewhat of an easy target? If it makes you feel better, "shoot away."

POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER! Drop them like a bad habit... I'm sorry, it's the way I was raised. So were most of you? But many people are afraid to admit it, I'm not. The common practice today is to teach young men to be "****ies" I'm teaching my son to be a man... You would do well to do the same. He does push-ups and learns MMA... I hope he never has to use it? But if he does? :-) I pity his opponent...

Or maybe we should just all hold hands and get along? I'll take your hand? But I'm libel to bust it off and beat you with it...

Can we agree that we don't want our sons growing up in pink two twos? If so, I think the rest of the argument is pretty much academic. Others may make the argument that this is fine? That's the fun thing about an argument? There's two sides, and my son won't be wearing a pink two two...

If yours does? That's fine, I'm not judging, I'm just trying to keep mine from doing so...

POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

And I reserve my 1st amendment rights... There are some who would oppose them? I reserve and honor them. You may disagree? That's all good, that's what the 1st amendment is all about. We have "The Right" to disagree...

But I believe? The vast majority of you feel as do I? And I believe I speak for "most of us..." Some will disagree? However, "and again" I believe I speak for the silent majority.

POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

Disagree with that? It's difficult, but I'm sure some will find a way. POW! Right in the kisser...
