What other people think of me is none of my business.

Now that's funny!!!!
.....................................
Last month, (Sept) was my 10th year anniversary since my last solo gig out in public, which was a Wine & Cheese festival of about 400 people.
I still play at home and learn new songs (- now up to about 800 -) in case I ever decide to get out there again, but the reason I stopped playing live gigs was simply because I just got sick and tired of being treated like sh*t.

I love to play and will always play - even if it means at home from here on out.

But I refuse to allow myself to be treated like dirt.

So now I at home sing to my God on His heavenly throne for His pleasure - and of course also to His Dear Son, who is seated at His right Hand.
Imagine His delight to enjoy the talent developed and returned to Him that He blessed me with so many decades ago in the first place.

No better audience could I have, who never miss one of my gigs at home - nor even one of my notes played or sung.

Do your art (playing, writing music) for your pleasure and your purposes.

Think of all those painters - Picaso, Rembrandt, Monet, etc. etc. who probably never thought anyone would see their artwork, let alone love and buy it - some of which now goes for millions of dollars.

You can bet they got down and depressed at times.

But they did art for art's sake - because they loved it - period!
And because they couldn't stay away, I'll bet, regardless of what other circumstances affected or influenced them.

Hang in there Mang!

It's normal for us artists to go in and out of our passion for our greatest love - very normal.
And most other people would never understand it.
