Hey Andrew take the quotation marks out and then we can access the link.

Not bad, what samples are you using for this piece? Couple of the transitions are off just a tad, but then I'm also known for my mistakes in sample mixing and not getting the cross fades perfect, just as Robbie, he has his eye on me. I think you could add some additional instrumentation to this and not hurt it at all. Nice sound to it though.

Peace and blessings, John

PS On Andrews link don't copy the quotation marks and it works fine, just copy, paste in browser and hit go, it brings you right to the song page.

Thanks for your comment! I'm using Session Drummer with "One shots" samples from "Loopmasters" for the drum track, and Cakewalk TTS-1 sounds for the other instruments. Conсerning additional instruments: are you talking about background instruments or instruments for melodic lines?

Well, seems you have all the background covered so I'm saying, something that gives the entire piece another direction, like some kind of a break with a lead in of other instrumentation, say at about 1:20 or there about for 20 to 40 seconds and then transitions back into the original piece. Just a thought, that could take this to the next level IMO.

Peace and Blessings, John

Yes, interesting idea! I think I should try something like that.

I love the arrangement and performances... my only crit is the bass sound...
a real bass sample with some velocity randomization, or better yet areal bass player...
I still think it a very cool piece...

Thanks for listening and comment. What do you think about recording a bass guitar, is it better to record using a guitar processor or only a compressor?
