Star, this is very impressive.  The arrangement is superb and caliente!  The mix could go several different ways, but this is an excellent starting point.  I look forward to hearing this again.

Sixfinger- Thanks!

I listened to all the critique and decided to act on it. I had received a comment on my soundcloud that the guitar coming in didn't sit well in the mix and that the mix was ok until then. After listening to the track I had to agree with the person.

I cut out a lot of the electric guitar...left the electric part to about half what it had been and added acoustic guitar parts here and there to give the tune a more latin feel. I also remixed most of the tracks in terms of eq and reverb. I added a very slight delay to the horns to give it a hall like feel.I made some minor rearrangements to the horn parts and added a few more horns in places. The reverb is going to a send and I adjusted the sends in each track leaving bass out completely.I changed the reverb setting as well.

I changed the EQ in the master to allow for more presence made the mix pretty hot yet didn't peak that I could tell.

I tried a lot of different things with the bass. It appears that the bass tone itself is kind of difficult to sculpt for all mixes on all systems. I am still not completely happy with the bass but I don't think I can get it much closer without re recording the entire track. I took out some of the high end energy in the bass track because there were some artifacts in it and this removed them. The bass really woofs in my car but it lacks some mid energy on some systems. The track still seems to retain the boom boom of a dance track.

I'm at work so it's tough to listen to others tracks. I will listen to all the tracks I can  this evening and comment. Thanks for your comments here.
