This discussion is about the history of plugins that were available with different versions of Sonar through the years. Many of us have many versions of Sonar and still make use of the older plugins that came with them.

A good point here!  Often when you open a project that was created years ago in an older version, you will discover missing plugins if you either don't have the older version of Sonar installed, or at least the plugins from it!

Just try opening some of the demo projects or tutorials from 8.5 if you have that disk laying around ...

OK, i believe all of the current Platinum plugins and features have been accounted for in this sheet now.

If any moderators would like a copy of the spreadsheet for a document repository, just let me know!  Otherwise at this point this sheet remains published (not shared) via Google Docs ...

I once had that too!!!  A long time ago in a galaxy far far away ...

I started with Cakewalk Professional 6, then Pro Audio 9, Sonar 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, and everything since!

Updated the ProChannel modules for X1-X3, minus the optional Sonar X1 Expanded. https://www.cakewalk.com/Press/Release/1172/Cakewalk-Announces-SONAR-X1-Expanded

This list is for 64 bit versions of Sonar Producer/Platinum, correct? 32 bit and smaller versions of Sonar may not have these plugins as they often had fewer offerings than the flagship versions.

I have no idea about the 64/32 bit aspects, but I would think that they parallel. I used 32-bit Producer up through Sonar X3, Windows 7 32-bit.  Made the leap to 64-bit for Platinum with Windows 10.

As far as the Producer vs. the Professional and Studio editions, they offered less content.  You would have to research the Sonar version comparisons to find out what was not offered in the smaller editions.  This list appears to represent the Producer content, so you should subtract anything not offered with your edition.

Maybe scook can chime in with his perspective.  I have only used Producer since the Sonar 1 days...sorry if that's not helpful.
