Still no fix. I'm probably going to remove and reinstall it next.
Thanks for the link, Mesh. Most of what was written is gibberish to me, though.
The thing is just not there, except that I can see it and it opens and closes. It doesn't spin up at all.
Oh. Also missing the F drive.

btw. I am no relation to the Slarty in the other forum. Slartabartfast is an incredibly common name, and the diminutive, Slarty, equally common. 

Never really thought so ... your posting and information here is so nicely done, and helpful. The other person, aside from some nice interviews, in general, is not an everyday poster . I think he doesn't want to get involved in the day in and day out stuff on the board, which is really annoying for the most part.
