Windows 10 is awesome and all of my shizzle works perfectly on it.

Dok I found out there is no upgrade driver for the Edirol FA-66 in Windows 10 yet.
 
Do you mean a clean install of Windows 7? I have the disc for Windows 7.
 So ;
1.Clean install of Windows 7
2. then Firewall (I'm not sure what this means. I have malware bytes and Microsoft Security Essenials
3.Windows Updates? 
 
P.S. I have Cakewalk Projects and Music etc. on a S drive on my PC. 

I use F-Secure for my firewall. The windows part is not exactly a complete firewall, and tends to not be totally efficient, as they can not compete in the Firewall area ... with the big names, like Norton, McAfee or F-Secure.
 
Of the 3, I like F-Secure best and have used it for 8 years, and they have had excellent support. AVG is supposed to be good, but I would not use it unless paid for. There is a massive difference between the "free" versions and the others.
 
Yes, Windows Updates right after the Firewall program that you want to use.

I've upgraded 5 computers from Win 7 to Win 10 with zero problems.
 
Well, one situation. On one of the two Home Premium versions I get a dialog box that the "system needs to be rebooted". I can close it and all is fine. I always get that dialog box on a boot or reboot. I consider this a minor annoyance and probably related to some errant uninstall of some little used tool or program. This was my laptop DAW which I uninstalled all DAW related software about 8 months ago. As well I had some software dev tools on there that I also uninstalled at that time too.

Make sure you create a backup image file prior to installing Win10.
 
Win10 is working well for most folks/scenarios.
I find Win10 slightly more snappy...
In particular, performance at smallest ASIO buffer sizes seems more robust.

I will upgrade after I can get a Windows 10 compatible driver for my Edirol FA -66. I think I will ask one of you guys for a link to the upgrade this time  

Bill, wouldn't the  Win 8.1 (x64) driver work? (generally, that's been true for other interfaces).

I went to the Edirol site and it said that driver was being tested but has not been posted yet. I will up grad then but only with help! Lots of help!
