Thanks Bapu. I've also posted in the other part of the forum as you have suggested. Is the loudness alright? The suggestions of everyone above really brought the mix to life but I still feel like the volume could be bigger. I'm going to check out your projects as a reference too.

My "cheater" mastering technique is use the LP 64 Multi band in the bin of the Master Buss.
It's default is not correct so you need to make a few changes.
Turn the output to -05 or ? anything under 0 with whatever your desired peak is.
Set the attacks real low like 10ms. Don't bother with the highest band.
And I put the lowest band on Zero leaving the rest at the default +3.

Now mix until ALL the bands other than the highest are showing a little action,,, not to much, just a tickle here and there as the song plays. You goal is to have each band showing about the same action. Nothing should show constant processing, If that band is always being compressed, return to your mix and deal with it.
This export will now be very close to the Loudness ballpark around -12 to -14 Average RMS level.

I use this on my backing tracks and the results are pretty consistent loudness and tonal balance.
For albums it's a lot more involved but I still use the LP multi band to analyze my mix. I then turn it off as I'm not 100% happy with what it does to vocals.

Johnny, how can I see the RMS level. I'm not really even sure what that is.

Are you using a linear or minimum phase EQ (To roll off the low end) ?

I've been away for awhile, but when the OP mentioned low volume, "Boost 11" jumped to mind as a quick fix.  Any merit in that?
