Fear not, I have returned unscathed from the clutches of evil (
bar a strange involuntary twitch in my right middle finger) 2 hard crashes were enough to release the GAS, machine hasn't crashed in 3 or 4 years, played havoc with BFD, removed my paths, no biggie, but then would play loud and soft, loud and soft, like some kind of extreme humanization which I couldn't find the problem. Loaded BFD in REAPER and Sonar X3e, worked fine. Wouldn't save TH2's state (Preset etc), and that was enough for me, enough time wasted. Glad it was only on my test machine.
Gave me an opportunity to clean all the demos etc off the old girl anyway, do a bit of maintenance . Oh well, it looked nice, very slick, although a little hard to see for my old eyes, everything seemed to be smallish, had some good things going for it, but I'll have the stability of REAPER and Platinum any day.
