JamKazam is a terrific, free on-line jamming service that works. They've just added streamed video feeds. Their current revenue generation is via JamTracks, backing tracks created by top cover bands, with isolated instrument tracks. Check them out at jamkazam.com.
Here's an example that was just posted. The bassist is in Baltimore, the guitarist in San Francisco and the drummer in Vancouver, B.C. This is the first 8+ minutes of a 37 minute live jam. And we worry about latency just in our DAWs.
