It's been about 2 years after giving up on Line 6 and their flaky drivers for my Toneport DI. I finally tried out their latest (Win 10)drivers and was able to get my DI box working. I'm really happy to have access to my beloved Pod Farm 2 Platinum tones which were my go to amp sims!!!

I'm not sure if I can use my Focusrite 2i4 as my main record/playback device (in Sonar) and use my Toneport to directly record the tones from Pod Farm (not as a plugin in Sonar). Anyway, reunited and it feels so good!!

So, there's some hope for others who may have had similar issues with Line 6.

"flaky drivers for my Toneport DI". Exactly! That would be great now that my VS-20 is not working with Win10.

Which Line 6 hardware do you have BD?

Mesh - I use the Line 6 KB-37 as my primary audio interface when tracking / recording vocals and guitars.

True, with the launch of Windows 10 there was a lag to get the drivers caught up, but Line 6 came through and the drivers are working now.

There's a very prominent reason I use the Line 6 for my vocals / guitar tracking over my Focusrite audio interfaces (which I use for everything else including mixing). I get a far superior low latency experience with the TonePort (kB-37).

I would not call their drivers flaky.

I have had success with PodFarm 2 with my Focusrite as the audio interface, and the KB-37 is connected by USB. It's like a dongle in that case. PodFarm works fine that way as well. But for my setup, the latency is with the Focusrite lags in comparison.

Actually, with all that said, even though I get great sounds out of PodFarm 2, I switched to using Amplitube all the time. I just prefer it. But I still use the KB-37 as the audio interface for Amplitube because of the essentially zero latency performance.

Mesh, Sonar allows us to easily switch between audio interfaces. So I freely use both the Line 6 and the Focusrite for different tasks.

Thanks Lawa, that's encouraging and I may very well do the same as your setup.

Regarding my comment on the 'flaky driver's" was due to an issue I had when I was using Win 8/8.1 and then only my Toneport as an interface. I would always have to continuously re-load the Line 6 drivers as it was always dropping out in Sonar (audio engine stopped working etc...).

I was very happy to see these new drivers working well in Win 10 (hope it lasts like that) and being able to use Pod Farm (I too have A3 and GR5 as well).....I just love/comfortable with PF2 and like to dial in a tone I want (in standalone mode) and then directly record it in Sonar.

I agree, the zero or low latency with Toneport is excellent, but also that natural 'air' quality of PF2.......(the other sims didn't quite have this (to my ears).

Same here Ham (from Win 8/8.1 though). Win 10 has been very good with all my hardware.
