glad you like the cymbal mix, that's always tricky...
i know that the engineer that recorded the drums used some 'less than stellar' mics, and so i'm at mercy of the sonics of those overheads, can't do much about them....

Bat - sorry I am late for the party.  I have always admired your music and this one is my favorite.  The guitars and vocals knock me out.  The whole production sounds great to me.  Love your playing and vibe.  Once little comment - and it doesn't matter at all is that the snare could use more width to me.  It is really compressed and tight.  No biggie.  Your work is so good to listen to.

since i mixed this originally on a roland vs, i didn't have much power to separate the snare out like i can now...
 
someone else recorded the drums for me, so i'm a bit limited with the tracks i have....
but i think i can mix drums a lot better now, than i could then, so i'll work on the snare for sure.
