This song has reminded me of the 80's all along so... 1987 it is! The year I graduated High school.
I had a few new plugins for this one. The guitar is Amplitube Fender Super-Sonic with Valhalla Ubermod and a touch of ValhallaVintageVerb (mix was up to 6%). I got a deal on Fab Filter's Pro-C. It's on the master bus with about 1db of gain reduction.  The master bus used Sonar's quad curve with the pure setting, Fab Filter Pro-C and LimiterNo.6. I tried several Limiters on this one with all giving good results, but in the end LimiterNo.6 is my favorite. I tried the Concrete limiter (which I did use on the bass track), TB Barricade, and T-Racks clipper+Brickwall. The Limiter is only barely doing anything, but it's loud enough in my opinion. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hey Clint! Sounds great bro! Lots of nice fretwork in there! I agree with you that it's got that eighties vibe going on. That's not a bad thing though. Lots of my favorite music came from the eighties. Got any lyrics in the works for this? I can definitely hear a vocal melody when I listen to it. Good job on this. Mix sounds good!

Thanks! I thought it sounded like "Hang on Loosely" by 38 special, but I checked...I should be good! Hahaha. Yeah, singing is something I've always done so I'm sure I'll get back to it. To be honest, I'm trying to get some songs in Music Libraries and Instrumentals are what's most requested. The last band I was in was a 3 piece were I did all of the singing. 40 songs a night for 5 years. I just want to play guitar for awhile. Thanks for listening, I always enjoy hearing your songs.

Clint, this is awesome man!
Yeah it does start with that 38 Special feel but you took it in totally different directions.
Very clean guitar work. The guitar sound is great. Your riffs are tight.
Mix sounded very balanced and bright.
That is something mine lack.
Good job

Dave

Nice job on all the way around.  Really love the guitar tones during the solo.  Super expressive and sizzling.  Mix is really good.
