Hi Steve, thanks again for the advice. Unfortunately, having uninstalled and reinstalled (using the latest woli.exe v30) I have lost both plugins altogether (have done the vst rescans, etc) - the plugins are totally absent. I've contacted Waves tech support now. As they said earlier, they are incompatible with Win 10 (presumably the licensing, not the plugin operations themselves??)

Jerry, I reauthorized all my Waves plug-ins on a new Win 8 PC a month or so back and it worked fine.

I did the free update to Win 10, and have since added a new Waves plug and that worked perfectly. My Windows 10 is the 'Home' version, 64bit.

I did (again) a complete uninstall / reinstall / rescan / re-license, using the Linear Phase Multiband only. Again the license on the PC didn't work, but licensing via USB did, as advised by Waves (because they don't support Windows 10, apparently). So at least the Multiband comp is working again. I don't know if/when we'll be updated by Waves on their support for Win10. It's all rather strange.

All my waves stuff is licensed to a USB flash drive that stays plugged into my DAW.

Waves' have recently updated and now support Win10.  I don't know if this is at the back end of the license centre; as far as I can tell the V9 download is the same version. Anyway, I've reinstalled everything and relicensed, and it seems to work now.

Solved, I think
