Before Jobs died, once the dust had settled, OSX had reached a 2 years life cycle for the upgrade releases. Since that other guy is in charge, we're back to a under one year cycle. This cannot possibly be good...
On the other hand, I personally know zero musician/engineer running the latest incarnation of Mac OS. Heck I'm only running Mavericks because it's what was installed on my Mac when I bought it. And I'm NEVER upgrading it.
Mavericks is probably the last version that had anything to do with the old OSX, before that idiot finished scrapping off everything good about it. And it's still nowhere near as good as Snow Leopard.
