Please help and either confirm or deny that I am going crazy.

I'm sure that up until recently I could select a clip in the Smart tool and hit the delete key on my keyboard to delete the clip. Now I instinctively do this and the functionality is not there. The only way I can erase a clip is to change the tool. I searched the help and couldn't find anything about deleting a clip this way.

So, am I misremembering, or going crazy; did Cakewalk change the functionality or could I have inadvertently changed a setting? I'm currently running 22.12.0 on Windows 10 (whatever the most recent distro is).

Thanks, Rob

That's how I erase clips, and it's working. I'm trying to think if there's any setting that could lock out the Del key, but nothing comes to mind. Sorry I can't be of more help, other than to say I don't believe that functionality has been modified.

There was an issue with that update (2016.12.22) for some users. I would update to the newest release.
Unless your membership has expired. In that case, try rolling back to November 2016

You can try Rebinding the Delete key (go to: Preferences / Keyboard shortcuts / use Locate Key / press delete on keyboard/ then choose Delete on drop down menu. Then apply).
